In the wintertime, the Latemar Ski Center (just 7 km away) boasts 50 km of well-groomed pistes and offers superb conditions for skiing and snowboarding. Lots of variety, perfectly groomed slopes, guaranteed snow, and plenty of spectacular events make the Obereggen ski area, together with Pampeago and Predazzo, one of the most popular ski resort areas in South Tyrol / the Dolomites.
Deutschnofen / Nova Ponente and Obereggen are connected by shuttle buses which commute on an hourly basis.
At an altitude of 1,350 meters above sea-level, the center of Deutschnofen / Nova Ponente represents the ideal starting-point for extensive tours affording you magnificent views of the Dolomites "Rose Garden" and the Latemar.
You can enjoy approx. 100 kilometers of well-groomed pistes, where both beginners and experts will find slopes corresponding to their level of skill.
Families with children can spend lots of fun-filled hours tobogganing. There are 3 toboganning courses in Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente.
If you don't care to go skiing, you can still explore the snowy landscape - with winter hiking.
